Floyd Mayweather Arrested, Excited Over Mug Shot

Floyd Mayweather was served with a warrant in Las Vegas last night and arrested in connection with an alleged November assault against a security guard in his neighborhood.
The boxer was at a casino on the strip when police came for him, but he doesn't look too sad about getting booked, does he? Perhaps the black jack table was being even less kind to Mayweather than the cops that took him in...
New Floyd Mayweather Mug Shot

About a month ago, Mayweather supposedly poked a security guard in the face after this man approached the athlete over a parking violation.
If convicted, the world champion faces a maximum of six months in prison.

Mel Gibson Awarded Increased Custody of Lucia

Mel Gibson may be an anti-Semitic and homophobic man with serious anger issues, but his parenting is nothing but exemplary in the court's eyes.
Judge Scott Gordon modified the actor's existing custody agreement with Oksana Grigorieva late Thursday, giving Mel MORE custody, not less.
Mel will be allowed more time with Lucia, with the increase in by hours. Added up, the additional hours total a little over one more day a week.

These two have been feuding for what seems like forever.
According to the agreement Mel and Oksana Grigorieva signed in May, both have joint physical and legal custody of Lucia. Under that deak, Mel had visitation rights a total of six days - with three overnight visits - every two weeks.
The judge has now increased Mel's face time slightly.
Oksana, who alleges that Mel attacked her earlier this year, and who Mel alleges tried to extort him, wanted Gordon to strip Mel of overnight visits altogether and to only give him monitored visitation. Not exactly how it played out.
Criminal probes into both parties are ongoing. Gordon said that the change was made for the best interests of Lucia ... so make of that what you will.

Adam Lambert Pushes for Change

Recently going on record with how difficult it can be to balance life as an openly gay man with life as a a recording artist, Adam Lambert stopped and combined both worlds this week.
Prior to performing "A Change Is Gonna Come" in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, the singer told the crowd:
"The thing about the song is, it's amazing that it was originally intended for civil rights, and ladies and gentlemen, if you haven't noticed, the gay and lesbian community is in a civil-rights movement right now."
Adam then detailed his own experiences with discrimination before moving into a heartfelt rendition of the single. Watch it all unfold now:

Charles Barkley Calls Out Brett Favre, Small Junk

Brett Favre crossed the line by allegedly texting pics of his penis to Jenn Sterger, but not in the way that the media has been reporting it, Charles Barkley feels.
Barkley told The Roundtable on WJOX in Birmingham, Ala., that he is "100 percent against sexual harassment," but that Sterger never accused Favre of that.
The whole Brett Favre scandal has been a "witch hunt," in Barkley's mind: "I don't know Brett Favre, but worst case ... Brett Favre's just a freak apparently."

Barkley: Favre "broke one of the Ten Commandments."
In fact, Sir Charles goes on, “My biggest problem with the whole Favre thing is if you’re going to send a woman a picture of your junk, it should be huge."
"You can't send small junk to a woman and expect anything."
Well, there you have it. Listen to his remarks here. Then watch a recent interview he gave with David Letterman in which Barkley made similar points ...

Tiger Woods Scandal: The Top Sports Story of '10

The truly unparalleled Tiger Woods scandal and his humbling, less than stellar return to golf was named the top sports story of 2010 by the AP.
He should share the honor with Rachel Uchitel.
The fallout from Woods' admission of infidelity was something no one could have expected - a deluge of mistresses, a split from Elin Nordegren and perhaps most surprisingly, a winless season on the golf course for the first time.
Puzzled Tiger
The Tiger Woods scandal made 2010 a year like no other.
It was Thanksgiving 2009 when Woods' pristine image unraveled after he crashed his SUV into a tree, unleashing salacious revelations of his double life.
Will 2011 be the year his return to prominence is the top story? That would be a comeback for the ages, and at this point, we're sort of pulling for it.
He made for great celebrity gossip, but at the end of the day, he's paid a heavy price for his "transgressions." It'd be nice to see Tiger back on top.

Ronnie Ortiz Indicted For Jersey Shore Assault

Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz (also known as Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Ronnie Magro) has been formally indicted by New Jersey grand jury on an assault charge.
The legal trouble for Ron stems from an episode from the MTV reality series. The title of the episode during with he cold-cocked Stephen Izzo? "One Shot."
Ortiz faces up to five years in state prison for third-degree assault.
Douche-Tastic
DOUCHE-TASTIC: And this was before his new tattoo!
The meathead “purposely or knowingly caused significant bodily injury to Stephen Izzo by striking in the face with a closed fist," the indictment reads.
Izzo is already suing Ortiz, MTV, Jersey Shore producers and the nightclub over the assault, which caused him to lose consciousness. Pretty bad stuff.
Not bad enough for the show to tone down the violence, of course. If these clips from Jersey Shore Season 3 are any indication, it's gonna be a wild winter.
