Kick Shaam upbeat about T'wood stint
Shaam is thrilled that his film Agam Puram will finally see the light of the day. "I don't have any backing in the industry but I'm happy that I've come up to this level," he quips.Ask him why he's so reluctant to accept multi starrers in Kollywood and he candidly says, "This trend is not very congenial in Tamil films as stars are not given equal importance here. One the other hand, Tollywood offers me good scripts and the roles are as important as that of the other actors.” However Shaam is quick to add that he is not averse to multi-starrers in Kollywood.
Shaam’s career has taken an upward swing in Telugu after Kick became a blockbuster. His performance in the recent film Kalyanram Kathi was received well. “I am working with Ravi Teja once again for a film titled Veera. I have also signed a film with NTR Jr,” he says. The actor will also be seen opposite Priya Mani in Kshetram. Meanwhile, the actor has also launched his own production banner. Plans are on for being a project in Tamil which will be directed by V.Z.
